I wanted t o put together a little research project - about your first drink.
where where you , how old were you and who gave you your first drink of alcohol?

and secondly at which point in your life did you get your first beer/ drink on your own?

i was thinking about this when i remembed i had got smashed drunk at 8 years old at a familes b-day party as a kid and know one knew i was dabbling..im trying to find ages and just how you came across it.

First taste of alcohol was probably at a family party when i was 6 or something. First time finishing an entire drink was 15, a bottle of beer to which I forgot the name of. Bought my first drink in restaurant when I was 17, I insisted I was legal age. (19 where I come from)

I was probably 6-7, too. My dad gave me a cup of beer and made me drink it. At that time it was one of the worst tasting things I'd ever drank.

7 or 8, my mom would give me a small glass of champagne on X-mas Eve to help me sleep.

I sipped other's drinks up until 17. That's when I started getting shitfaced.

Interestingly enough, the first time I got tanked was watching UFC 12 in 1997.

It was at my friend's older brother's apartment. Vitor Belfort made Tra Telligman & Scott Ferrozzo look handicap and I was trying to conceal my boner directed at my buddy's brother's hot ass girlfriend.

I used to sneak sips of my dad's nasty ass Kingsbury or PBR when I was probably 5-6 years old. They would sometimes share small glasses of their grasshoppers with me too when I was young. I think I had my first full beer when I was 14 at a cousin's wedding reception.

I think I ended up drinking more before I was 21 then afterward. I was in the military at the time and there were several bars around St Louis that would serve you if you were military if you were 21 or not.

damn man it's just as i thought ..i figured that everyone got their start from a family member, at an age between 6 - 8..usually an uncle or dad

I was in the military also..and the only thing to do to bond is drink and chill..world wide baby

My parents would always let me taste alcohol for as long as i can remember.

First time I got drunk was in the 5th grade, some wine i took from my parents.

I started drinking in the 6th grades, it was beer with my friends.

Alcohol poisoning in the 7th grade from whiskey.
