I was wondering if there are any pro wrestling gamers who have heard about or are excited about Fire Pro Wrestling Returns coming out next Tuesday for $20.00 for PS2? For people who are not familar Fire Pro Wrestling is a popular pro wrestling game in Japan that every wrestler you can think of. However for legal reasons they have different names.

For example Terry Funk is in the game. But they changed his name to Kerry Texan. There are also Pride fighters in the game with a MMA option in the game. W. Silva Josh Barnett and Vitor Belfort are in the game but under different names which can be changed.

I have not heard about a new firepro game coming out but if it has Wanderlei Silva, Josh Barnett, Vitor Belfort and Terry Funk I will buy it if I can find it.

Yeah it's actually 14.99. I have the import, and it's definitely addictive. I think if most people can get past the graphics and the initial learning curve they will realize that it is probably the deepest wrestling game you will find.
Hundreds of wrestlers (sorry can't remember exact amount) with 500 edit slots. You can edit your own rings/refs/belts. There is a UFC style cage, but the selling point is absolutely the insanely in depth create a wrestler though, the cpu logic is sick.

I think everybody should pick this up, 14.99 isn't going to break the bank.

I've been waiting for this game for a long time. I had Fire Pro D for Dreamcast, and Six Man SCramble for Sega Saturn. This game is ridiculous compared to U.S. games like Smackdown. over 300 wrestlers included, and 500 slots for creations. Many people may get turned off because of the 2D graphics and it doesn't have as many match types as people are used to. For $14.99 this game is an amazing steal. Hell, even for $149.99 it would STILL be worth it. That's how good it is.

Sorry. Most people are selling it for $14.99. However my local Game Stop has informed me they are selling the game for $19.99.
