There WilL be Blood
I just watched all the Oscar Nominees for best picture and There Will Be Blood has the worst ending.
Decent story, great acting, incredibly dumb ending.
No Coutnry for Old Men didnt have a great ending either, but the storyline and Direction made up for that. There Will Be Blood disappointed me though.

i found the structure of that film to be very problematic. the plainview-eli rivalry seemed very forced, and it certainly wasn't captivating enough to culminate in the film's ending. the whole thing would have worked better with religion + oil being tied together anways. i have to watch it again though. i watched it hung over with some friends and we were talking the whole time.

I drink your MILKSHAKE
Worst ending ever has to go to anything made by Hollywood within the last 30 years. I cant stand happy endings for movies that should have ended on much different notes

Clockwork Orange's ending always disappointed me. The ending in the book was completely different and way better.

I agree, I was waiting for that tie together as well somehow and it just didnt appear. Again, I liked the acting and story to a point, but it just ended horribly in the last quarter or so of the movie.

its wildly different from the book. the book had a cool ending. the son becomes a semifamous socialist and when the dad dies he's cheated out of his inheritance.
