No, but I laughed at the guy who only worked one side of his body. It was hirlarious, his whole gimmick was to use his "good strong" arm to KO some monster.

Not that I'm picking sides in this debate, but I thought he was pretty damn good in The Talented Mr. Ripley.

pretty much any of tom cruises earlier films - a bunch of irritating characters, and not one of them died at the end.
****** writters should have been disciplined imo.

Maybe if I had watched Layer Cake before Snatch I would have appreciated the plot a bit more, but ya... I def. agree that the ending was very good, kinda made up for other parts.
And on the topic of Snatch, that movie along with 12 monkeys really made me appreciate Brad Pitt as an actor, most probably point to fight club first, but I really liked him in those movies a bit more I think, for sure he is one of the best when he doesn't choose to go with the 'pop hollywood' movies like troy & Oceans trilogy

maybe a bit off topic, but i did not want to start a new thread. Since we are at some good movies with bad endings i stumbled over a statement from uwe boll (the man that makes only bad movies) and laughed my ### off. man the guy is hilarous:

That was so f-ing lame, Shamalama sucks.

Isn't that just a copout excuse for the filmmaker to be lazy, though? Couldn't a hack director make a movie without bothering to construct a satisfying ending, then chalk up his artistic failure as being the result of his intention to be "ambiguous"?
