Fact... The main host of the engineering an empire series was played by peter Weller who played the role of Robo Cop. Peter weller besides playing the role of robo cop is a professor of history at Syracuse.

and the history show has had some pretty good series. think pbs beats em out though, especially on ww2 stuff

When watching the shows I always wondered about his credentials, It wouldn't have bothered me if he wasn't an academic, but I was curious.

Their show on the geological histrory of earth was excelent as well, but the progaramming has been lacking as of late. I hope some new series are in the pipeline. Ax Men is not doing it for me.

I totally agree. The history channel lately has way too many shows on ufos, monsters and ax men.

Thursday nights they have a show called Gangland biographying street gangs. It is very interesting.

I've seen a couple, and it is a good show, but I guess my interest in gangs and organized crime is not what it used to be. I always like Modern Marvels and Dog Fights. I have not seen Battle 360 yet.
