I thread popped up in the OT that put out the question, "Short Tights or Board Shorts?".
Since it is retarded to put out a legitimate question in the OT or the HW boards, I was wondering what you all thought about the major switch to Board style fighter shorts.
I would think that it is much smarter, economics wise, for fighters to wear the board shorts. I assume that there is much more advertising money to be made if a fighter wears the bigger trunks. having shorts with double to triple the material means that there is more space to be sold to potential advertisers.
the tight ones, like gsp wears, keep the logo facing fully out at all times. board shorts fold up, and get bunched together, etc, so you really cant read whats on them often.

eh, people today are too afraid to be called homo's so they wear boardshorts
I disagree, they grapple around and get positions like "the mount" etc. I think they feel more comfortable wearing the large shorts because they are more stylish and they can have their sponsors on them. When I saw Georges fight KOS i don't remember seeing any sponsors on Georges short shorts.

I like the tighter shorts because ppl often grab board shorts and in a fight 1 take down (with the help of shorts if the ref doesn't catch it) can win a close fight.
