Definitely worth the download, Could take some time getting used to with the controls and all and theres a lot to download. The tour section is an ideal place for noobs like myself. Overall i recommend it. Good find.

download it. its only 20 megs and you can uninstall if dont like.

its the same thing as google earth. you move around universe looking out from earth and zoom in on any star or constellation or whatnot and it shows the NASA/Hubble/Astronomy photos taken for that object.

there are also guided tours you can watch and interact in.

its very cool.

that sounds cool, too bad it's windows only, I'll have to install it at work

google will have a similar software as well
