Yeah I guess if I had to have a "story" I could go back to my mom being a pseudo-femminist and master manipulator. The fact that I realize these things about her is probably a BIG plus. She would often say things to me like "Ashley, this is how men are you have to do this to get them to do this" etc etc then when she talks to my grandpa who is born and raised in New Orleans with "southern" beliefs she would be very "Now I know women should be in the kitchen and arent allowed to have a free thought but..." and she would be serious when she said these things. It bothered me that she could flip sides so easily and I never thought it was right and I thought that she was giving women a bad name by doing that.

Tiburon was right about a few things thought. Women do need to be constantly encouraged and validated but so what? Is it that much of a burden? And some are not as bad as others but I dont see that as a negative but merely a difference between men and women. It just seems like lots of women are willing to do things to make men happy and give them what they need but men see it as such a burden to return the favor. (im generalizing yes I know that isnt always the case for everyone, I'm just making a statement)
