There is nothing whatsoever morally equivalent in seeking justified revenge and beating someone to death with no place in the conflict.

One does not become evil to slay evil. One becomes good by doing so.

In fact, it is the greatest evil to suggest a man should not avenge himself.
I try to speak from experience (though my past circumstances cannot compare to the Ts's by any means). I was raised by a man who put revenge above almost everything else. When I would get my revenge on others....I would feel empty afterwards. The reality of revenge never matches the fantasy of it.........at least not for me. You end up realizing that you spent months/years on an endevour that just wasn't worth your time and couldv'e been better used for something else more creative.

And you never ever become good from murder/killing..........no matter what the situation. You become less than what you were......

Those who find nothing in revenge looked for too much. One feels empty only in the sense that someone who drinks water finds he is no longer thirsty: One's prior desire, once fulfilled, leaves one with a gap. What one does find, however, is that one did what was both right and necessary.

Not at all. One becomes greater than what one was. One has risen to the occasion to display one's true goodness and character. One has acted as a superior man ought to: Loathe to accept the despotism of those who injure one.

It is deep.......

Towson....tell me if this is true.
A friend of mine who served as a peace keeper in Bosnia told me that the Serbs have a blood oath.....in that if you kill a family member that other family members are honor bound to come after you until you are dead.......just wondered if that were true.

Yeah I have heard this before.

What happened in Bosnia is so tragic so many good people lost their lives, I have so many family members who lost their lives but my grandmother’s death strikes me the most because all my memories are with her. I was really young when I left and don’t remember most of the dead just a few.

Someone mentioned Bosnia is trying to move on and forget about the war…that is so hard man since everywhere you go you see mass amounts of grave yards.

I hope all the problems in Bosnia can be solved politically but you cannot have a nation grow when it has a something like the republica srpska (the serbs have their own republic basically their own nation) within its nation.

I smell another war soon because I really don’t see how this problem can be solved without war.
