usually don't post in gheyberry but fuck man. he was just driving home from work, said he had some visual disturbances, thank god someone called 911 for him and now he's in a hospital 600 miles away from me diagnosed with a stroke. The weirdest part is that my damn is this 6'4 260lb brick shit house who i always looked up to as being the toughest motherfucker i've ever seen. Now i'm going down tomorrow to see this unbreakable guy laid up in a fucking hospital bed.

I do give a shit. I know the feeling my mom was laid up in ICU 1700 miles away from me, with respiratory failure following a routine 2 hour surgery that took more than 12. She bounced back and is a lot better these days. I hope your pops recovers too. Good Luck and prayers are sent.

My father had a heart attack 2 years ago and all at once things started popping into my head about how I should have done more things with him but all ended up good after he had bypass and you could say it made us become alot closer, so I know how you feel in a sense

My condolances. I had the same feeling when my Dad got sick as he is the same kinda guy and Id never seen him even stay home with a flu, but seeing him laid up on a bed was a tough thing to see. I hope he makes a fast and full recovery and that it doesnt put strain on your family.
