My best female friend and I tried to date after years of knowing one another, but it ultimately didn't go anywhere.
It was difficult to switch gears from friendship into romance, in that we were always so afraid of wrecking what we had.
Eventually things just kind of cooled off romantically with no closure what so ever, and we went back to being really good friends. (Although I still find myself wanting more sometimes)

Thanks folks, ready to go into battle. Sushi and saki, with a side of laughs. At some point when she whips out the lingering eye contact, I'll say "you know what we should do?" lay on the kiss, and then it's on. Acting training will make it teh spontaneous. Hopefully pics on Friday.
