I'm a big fan, and I'll be getting snuff when it comes out.

Since you're a fan of his, you should definitely pick up Choke, that's one of my favorites of his. Rant was really entertaining, I enjoyed that one a lot. And Haunted was so crazy and well formed, and you're right, there was some pretty disgusting shit that I learned from that one. It's nuts that people actually passed out when he read the Guts chapter at some of his book readings.

agreed. Chuck is awesome because his stories are great and amusing but they are what they are and nothing more. I enjoy his work because I always want to know what happens next. Very few others do that for me. Well actually... really only 1 does. B.E.E the man behind American Psycho. While the book sucked ass for drawing me in for the first 1/4... the rest was awesome.

My favoRITE book is Rant. The interwoven conclusion was clever. I got a kick out of Diary, it's tone, and the ending, but Rant is the best.
Guts was a good one in Haunted. There is also a good one in there about a sex doll and the police department.

What about Foot job? It was hilarious.

chucks books are interesting to me in part because alot of the story he writes with his own perception of life (morbid) and then gives you either a) info dumps full of little known facts or b) stories he actually got from fans / people he met.
in 'choke' he actually went to a sex addiction group to research what goes on in there and got alot of material which is why he talks about that in fight club and choke and so on..
