I Love the 00s

Okay so it's the middle of 2008 now which means only 1 1-2 years in the decade left.

What do you think about the 2000s will we look back on fondly and be nostalgic for and what will we despise like 80s fashion? What will live on and what will die off? Also what's come out or coming out in this decade that you think will change the world? What will this decade ultimately be remembered for?

Here's a few things I think we will be nostalgic for (no necessarily meaning they've ended and mind you I'm a child of the 00s so I don't remember much before them) :
MMA
the Ipod
The Xbox systems
A Song of Ice and Fire (started in the 90s I know)
Grand Theft Auto Series
Lord Of The Rings Series
Lost
Red Sox winning the series
the Patriots
crappy action movies

The Ugly Side:
Emos
shitty music (ex: emo among others)
fashion
Bush
Iraq
Reality TV
VH1 (reality tv)
car rims
crappy action movies

pro:
Top Chef (i know it's reality TV, but I've learned tons about cooking just watching it, not too intense in drama either)

Cons:
Fucking Finances, oil, really anything money related, but mostly credit and oil

VH1 won't waste anytime making a special about the decade, probably around 2012

Holy shit, it seems like the nineties just ended... Even though they ended when I was in fourth grade. I just graduated. Time goes by a lot faster then you realize.

Grand Theft Auto Series
Grand theft auto came out for pc in '97/'98.

I remember cause i was a freshman in highschool when a senior let me download the ripped pc version from his server. I graduated in '01.

he said check it out, and i been hooked ever since.

I know I have the first 2 but the series didn't become really popular until 3.
