Birthday gift ideas for a girl I just started dating
Backstory: So far, I have been on three dates with this girl, and things have been fantastic. This Sunday is her birthday, and she invited me to join her and a group of friends to celebrate. The question that invariably arises from this, what do I get her?
While we are still very much in the feeling out process of getting to know one another, I know she has an affinity for classical music (She is an ARCT certified piano player), cars and animals. Unfortunately, none of these things gives me a clue as to what might be an appropriate gift.
Suggestions would be sincerely appreciated!

get her an album of something she likes or something related to classical music. That's what I would do. But don't take it from me, I post on Sherdog.

Get her a two nights in new york city and a chance to see the symphony. Then bring her back to the hotel room and have an expensive bottle of champagne ready and give her diamond earings. Not big diamonds, because its too soon to go all out.

3 dates is still very early. How about the gift of your company on a nice (not too expensive) date? Maybe take her somewhere cool and pay her way. Big elaborate gifts or even flowers sometimes say too much too soon. I'd go with a nice date... just don't go overboard with spending money or making it "too romantic" because again, it may be too much too soon.
What are some cool places you could take her out to the day of or the day before her birthday in your area?

Actually, I had used some of your advice (given many moons ago) for our previous date and took her to a comedy club and Korean BBQ.
With regards to a gift, she mentioned that she loves the movie Kill Bill, and it inspired her to want to learn Japanese.
Thus, I was thinking an intro to Japanese book and toy Samurai Sword. Any good?

Something personal would probably be more well received then something expensive. An expensive gift would be too much too soon.

That actually sounds pretty good IMHO. It show's that you paid attention to what she says. Chicks dig that kinda stuff. Good luck.
