best place in thailand?

I'm going to thailand for 3 weeks in dec. To Phuket.. never been there, and i'm also thinking about going to Krabi and Phi phi islands.. anyone been there..

last year i went to koh-samui, koh phangan, and koh tao.. those places seriously kick ass..

ive been to thailand many times. im half korean and ive been to a few different asian countries. all i can say is watch your back in thailand. some parts of that country are extremely dangerous! you could get killed and your body will never be found! especially if your are white and look like you have alot of money. there are places in thailand that make america's ghetto look like disney land.

I heard bout that, my mom always told me if i went dont bring any fancy clothes. My supervisor said he visited Cambodia and said everybody there mostly have ak47s. Is this true?

it's a pity www.muaythailand.com is currently down and under construction, it's an absolutely great place for info on traveling to thailand, be it for muay thai or not.

dave, the owner, has also been to cambodia and didn't mention anything about ak47s. one weird thing though is that apparently the population is on average very young, as a lot of the older population was killed off by the khmer rouge if i'm correct.
