[Ring Shark98]

I recently upgraded from my RAZR to a Blackberry Pearl on Monday. I have a 14 day trial with it, and so far its not too bad! The only complaints I have is that the buttons are really fuckin small, and the little scroll wheel thing doesn't always work the best. Great phone though with great options and apps, etc.

Now, any of you have experience with either of these phones? If at the end of my 14 day trial I just don't like it, I may go and grab the RAZR2 instead. Only complaints with my old RAZR is that the battery life is pretty much nil now; I can't talk more than 10 minutes without it croaking. The phone itself is a little bit cheap, it is a bit worn out, but overall it functioned great!

Any suggestions? Debates? Anything is helpful!

i have the Razr 2.

Pos:

looks great, people tend to notice it.

picture and video capability is decent.

no real batt life problems.

Neg:

fragile, screen is already messed up, audio has gotten weaker for some reason

OS seems to lag, although i have a lot of pics and videos on it



The only reason u need a blackberry is for the email capability. If u dont need that, get something else.

And the iPhone 2 comes out soon.

Thats kind of what I'm thinking too...I mean, I RARELY email people. How useful is the touch screen?

If I was going to upgrade to a new phone, I'd go with either the Blackberry, or the iPhone 2.0. I was going to get a RAZR a few years ago...until all the emo kids started getting them. Plus, my GF had one and dropped it a total of two feet off of her bed onto carpet and the damn thing broke in half.

RAZR2 is also 50 bucks more here than the Pearl. And unfortunately I don't think my phone company will be getting the iPhone .
