Yeah, completely agree with that. Whenever you see a game it's some bullshit mod like zatrix or something.
BTW redwallet, yeah, I've played AQ2. Bloody fantastic. I still think that's one of the best multiplayer games that's ever been made.
I guess we'll have to see what Quake Live is like. That said though I did have this idea for a retro online games site. Basically, you could go there and register- you put in your email, password, what games you want to play online and when you can do so. Then say every day (or maybe just the days you want to play, I dunno), it would send you an email at a certain time, telling you what other players want to play and when. Also every month it would send you an email saying that if you want to keep using the service please reply to this email. That would get rid of people who don't want to use it and keep the info emails accurate. This would really help players get together.
