michiganders need to get over this obsession with foreign vs. domestic automobiles. they're all multinational corporations, the big 3 are leaving MI like the steaming sack of shit it is (and basically the rest of the 1st world), and the only thing brand loyalty ever produced was complacent car companies that put out garbage.

it's true. i remember reading a big tech article several years back and they were saying it was a big hurdle in getting places that could service them outside of an area with an (overpriced) dealership.

That and I live in NYC. I take the subway, bus, and car services/taxis.

I have always wondered this as well. Unless you are the type of person who has to have a brand new car every couple of years and are willing to concede that you will always have a car payment, it does not make sense.
