Bay Area Light Rail Pub Crawl

Anyone from the CA bay area do a light rail pub crawl? What are some good stops?

I'm thinking I'll probably start at like Katie Blooms in DownTown Campbell.

I was born and raised in SJ and have used the light rail exactly once for a class field trip. Interesting idea though, I didn't know the trains ran that late.

Save a little bit of sobriety for when you hit downtown!

Just don't get hit by that thing when you're waiting for it.

Some poor fuck just got killed last week or the week before.

I've always wanted to bar/club hop using the light rail but I usually just hit up whatever is on Santa Clara or 1st.

Most train related pub crawls start at about three and end at about 10.

Anyway, I think I may just start with a small pub crawl, no train needed. I'll map it out for you other locals in case you ever want to try it with your friends. Start at Garret's pizza and get a pizza a pitcher and some buffalo wings. You will need to prepare your stomach for the night.

Head over to left at Albaquerqes (SP?) Dont eat any food there it sucks (except maybe appetizers), and you should be full already anyway. Drink a pint then head over to Rock Bottom Brewery. Might want to get a light beer there like their Kolsh. Then head to Boswells, the bar that looks like it should be in some small-town but has been taken over by the young locals. From there comes your longest walk, head to Katie Blooms. Hopefully you will have arrived before the line is out the door and have a pint or a shot. Then its over to Khartoums. Again, if you are fast enough you may beat the ridiculous crowd. Finish up at the kings head because it should be really slow there until the new owners do something more with it. It will be a cool place to chill without having to wait in long lines at the bar. Fuck the Cardiff. But if you want to hit one more bar, you may be able to catch Aqui's before it closes and get a margarita or something, or you can go to Sonoma chicken coop which hasn't been over run by sorority girls and frat boys yet (no offense to those in sororities or fraternaties, I'm just done with the college party scene), but does have kind of an older crowd (mid to late thirties usually) but they are still having fun.
