Any Vermont hikers out there?

I'm heading into Vermont for a few days looking to take on some of the trails. I've covered a bit of the long trail in the lower Green Mountians down around white rocks but this time I'm looking to give MT. Mansfield a climb.
I've got a nice loop mapped out starting from Underhill state park. Anyone got any Beta for me?

If you drink beer, buy yourself a Switchback. They only sell it in VT and only in the bars.

As for hiking, Stowe is a big mountain, now you can actually climb it instead of the proverbial one!

-or-

Hike from the state park into Burlington and get with the ladies.

All my hiking has been in Ky, Tenn, and North Car. Let us know what you think. I was actually watching a documentary on the AT the other night.

I hiked the A.T. through there. All I remember is jumping over puddles of water, leaves, and snow/ice. Lol, I know this post doesn't help, but you evoked some memories of the worst trail I ever hiked

vermont's beautiful bra. you should definitely go. i haven't hiked there much, mostly x country skiing and snowboarding in the winter and random stupid shit in the summer, but there are definitely a plethora of small mountains to hike. the only downside might be a lot of douchebag new yorkers and such in certain areas.
