August 2nd in Baltimore. Jersey Mike Fest 2. Apparently admission is free with 18 hardcore bands playing. I really want to see Billyclub Sandwich, Stout and NJ Bloodline. I live in California though, so I never get the oppurtunity to see 'em but August 2nd is my 21st birthday and I have a lot of family in the NY area. So, me and my buddy are probably going to fly to Baltimore for the show, stay overnight then head up to NY the next day to stay with my cousins for a week or two and party. Probably going to check out Billyclub Sandwich one more time on the 9th in the bronx and possibly on the 14th in brooklyn, getting drunk every day of course and raging in NYC as much as possible.

Need myspace to view the flyer but there it is. I'm wondering if there are many people on Sherdog that even listen to this kind of stuff?

Oh, and does anyone from the area know if there's any kind of train that runs from Baltimore to NY? My buddy from NY said he thought they had one but doesn't remember that well.

There is a train you can take. Just go to Amtrak's website. They should run pretty regularly.

I used to be very into punk, but I was never really a fan of tough guy/New York hardcore. I do like a couple of bands like early Agnostic Front and the Cro-Mags are one of my favorite bands ever, but that's pretty much it. I was into more of the traditional hardcore/straight edge and post-hardcore stuff.
