yesterday i took the written psychological portion of the corrections officer recruitment. now yesterday when i completed the test i got my appointment for the face to face interview with the psychologist on the 20th, and the very next day i have the "medical/agility" portion. and on the papers it says immediately following the medical/agility you will be assigned to an investigator who you will go meet with immediately after the medical/agility test.

just wondering if anyone has gone through this and can tell me what to expect. thanks.

I hand it to you guys hope you have really thought this through my point of reasioning if you ever watch prison documentarys on TV I am sure that the guards who are getting human waste tossed on them are not the veteran officers who just enjoy the job

my girlfriend's dad is a retired department of corrections officer, the guy has some great stories.

I worked as a Correctional officer for five years- to include every custody level.

I also worked in the gang intelligence apparatus.

It is an interesting career field, however not for everyone.
