I have a problem with ants.

Not in my house but I have huge ant piles around my garden and fruit trees. Little black ants.

I've tried several over the counter ant killers with 0 success. I've tried those pellets that the ants are supposed to pick up and take back to the nest and I swear, they just removed the poison from the pile and moved on. I've tried sprays, I've tried flooding. Nothing.

Any ideas on how to get rid of those ant hills?

We had ants too. Lots and lots of them. Only in the house. They were crawling up the walls, the counters and they were in the bathtub. I couldnt figure out how they were getting in or where they were coming from. We cleaned everything and made sure there were no dirty dishes or food left out and they still came in huge numbers. Finally, we gave up and called some professionals. The pest control people had those ants gone and dead (or dying) by the time they left the property and we now have them come out and service the property every other month. No more ants for us. It's worth the money.

Buy a couple pods of praying-mantis on the internet and let them hatch outside. Those hungry little shits should eat all the bad guys.

Miraculous Insecticide Chalk aka Ant chalk.

it works very well, but sometimes you get fake stuff that doesnt work at all. Draw the line, and they wont pass.

Try spraying with a soap and cayanne pepper solution. I hear that works well.
