Incubus and light grenades album

Hey, just got the album, but cant open it till christmas. I blame the wife, and society anyway thats a long story.

Just curious if anyone has any thoughts on the album.
I heard one song anna molly and the track is pretty awesome

I am a huge fan of them and just wondering if any other fans out there had any thoughts
Cheers

been an incubus fan since science was their latest album. Even though they have gotten way lighter along the way. i still love every album. Light grenades is a pretty good album but its not their best. Dig and Love Hurts are a couple of really good emotional slower songs. It's probably their most subdued album. The guitar is astonishingly red hot chili peppers ish, along the lines of stadium arcadium. Over all a good album, but again not their best.

I concur, Dig is a PHENOMINAL song.

I find the new stuff really boring. It just seems the rhythm section doesn't play awesome stuff like when they still had the old bassist.

I love everything up to and including Morning View, but that's it.

this album sucks, just like their last. being an incubus fan since fungus days, ever since they started renting malibu mansions to write their albums, they have gone straight downhill. what an absolute joke now.

i have loved them since make yourself, and i love their newer stuff compared to the older harder stuff, it just speaks to me more. Its more reflected i feel, so with what peeps on here are saying that i should really like this new album, though i was not overly impressed with crow left of the murder

thanks guys

im sure you have several nickelback albums as well right? (no offense). im just saying, they went from this revolutionary punk, rock, funk, alternative, etc band, to a straight pop alt rock band. very sad.

Sorry buddy but you are way off. Im the most anti pop alt rock band guy in the world, and incubus is nowhere near that. Im a true heavy ****l fan, but although uncubus has gotten softer they have in no way sold out. Their music is emotional, exciting and from the heart. They are one of those bands who truly have just expanded and moved on to other things and grew out of the heavy funk/****l stage. Its not just an excuse like with other bands (****llica)
