Exactly. I remember seeing a documentary on the possibility of ET life and they interviewed Stephen Hawking. He said something to the effect of "in every case where one species/group of people has been more advanced than another, theinferior species have been wiped out". He basically hoped there is no intelligent life elsewhere in the universe capable of reaching Earth, because if they were advanced enough to traverse space they could and probably would exploit/eradicate the planet. But who knows, maybe being inherently ruthless is only a human trait, perhaps there are beings out there with a truly gentle and peaceful nature.

If you are interested in some of this watch the 3 part documentary Quest for the Lost Civilization. It is very interesting and shows Zep Tepi, which is the Egyptian first time. It gives a date and all details. 10,500 BCE during the thawing of the last ice age

I dont think they should. Just because many humans are bad, doesnt mean that an advanced civilization would be. Maybe they have gone beyond that

UFOs float in the air because of space, they use silver nitrate to create a vacuum, and the have four round dots on bottom and top, and those are to propel them along in their tiny vacuums (I'm serious)
