Bigfoot, Lizard Man, Moth Man, etc...
Does anyone really believe in this stuff? I, for one, do not. It's a simple case of show me the stuff, prove it, and I'll believe. Work or ban, I guess. I'm not a believer of life in outer space, either. So many things have to occur for life to start and continue(weather, chemistry, etc.) . Scientifically speaking, it's amazing to me that life even exists at all, which is probably why I believe in God(although it's amazing that such a being exists, isn't it?[if in fact it does]).

Humans are the most fascinating of all IMO. Forget all the others.

I don't really believe in that stuff. However I research them to no ends. I love reading about it and hearing all the crazy stories from insane individuals. To me it's basically like reading a novel or comic book. Just for fun but also still kind of neat that the POSSIBILITY of them out there does exist. Even if it is slight.

The difference between mythical creatures on earth that we can't see and those outerspace is that there are 1000s of brilliant people studying the universe and actively researching the possibility, not just redneck sightings.
The hubble deep field alone should be enough to prove to you that there is life on a distant planet.

All the deep field proves is that there are a hell of a lot of galaxies out there. Definitely increases the likelihood that life exists somewhere out there though.
I don't really see how that is too important right now though. We have more pressing issues at home right now.
Though I do believe that finding life somewhere other than Earth may relieve some religious tension brought on by abrahamic fundamentalists.

I haven't really seen it evidence of any of that. A guy that used to be my friend swore there was this evil elf looking thing that existed but I never saw it. He tried getting me to go kill it but I really didn't trust him to begin with so I wasn't about to go out and "hunt" something with him.
As far as ghosts and spirits, I've had my share of dealing with things like that. I think there is enough info out there where that's almost a fact.
And with the life in outer space, I think that's it's a definite possibility. Who knows how big and old this universe is. To say that we are the only intelligent beings in the universe is a little arrogant or narrow-minded, IMO. Plus there is a lot of evidence that there are UFO's and what not.

I agree it doesn't scientifically prove anything, but to the hesitant skeptic it should shut them up until they can understand the science behind it.

A lot of scientists. They have theoretical models that even catalogue minute by minute the beginning of the universe.

There are also theories by scientists that say the universe is ageless and that it renews itself. None of it is 100% fact yet.
