Alright I know this is gonna sound pathetic but I just can't seem to get Adblock to work for my firefox. I remember someone here saying they haven't seen an ad on sherdog in over a year because of adblock. What do I do add the site to the white list? Any help would be appreciated.

dude it's very easy. just DL the mozilla adblock, then subscribe to one of the websites that they provide.

i don't know what it does, subscribing..... but it works great on my computers (doesn't cost anytihng).


i won't run payroll with Firefox, from what I've heard it can be hacked into easier, but for everything else I would say it's the kindest browser out there.

you don't whitelist the site, you black list the directories that contains the ads, with wildcards :

http://*fastclick.net/*
http://*.googlesyndication.com/*

or get rid of the sidebar completely :
http://www.sherdog.com/sidebar_dark.htm

Yes, and if one of the ads happens to slip through these broad filters then right click on the offending ad and there should be an option near the bottom of the 'right click menu' for adblock.

Flash ads can be completely abolished with *.swf* or again just make the wildcard * for the offending ad site...*doubleclick* etc.
