LOL that doesn't count. Even before he died Heath had multiple box office success stories and was a very marketable actor. I'd say he definitely capitalized on his big break.

Mark Hamill never did much outside of teh star wars. Once I heard him say it was because he was typecast into that role, but I call BS because Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford both went on to make a lot of other movies.

I don't know if we should count TV, because hardly any TV stars make the leap to big screen success.

2 actors that specifically left TV shows to become film actors: Andy Richter, David Caruso. Look how well their film careers panned out.
