Seems like everyone in my age group (26) has dreampt of one day opening their own bar. That dream ever cross you. Has anyone ever tried it. If you dreampt it but don't think you are going to do it now, feel free to share your bar concept as well.

Close. I have four large papers to write. But I passed my comprehensive exams!!!! Hardest test I ever passed so I'm happy with that. Anyway, some how I got ahead on my papers and am enjoying a small break before a mother's day BBQ. After that, I'll be writing a paper tonight. And I have one final, on which I need to get at least a B or I have to retake the class...Psychopharmacology. Sheesh.

Of course. Owning your own bar would be great.

Yeah, that is the one problem with them, people underestimate how much work goes into them. I'd rather write a book than open a bar based on how much work it would take to just open a bar. But if I did open one, I'd want to own it and higher a good staff that can do most the maintenance. Then there would be a closed off upstairs room that would be invite only which would pretty much be for my friends and family and UFC nights.

And if you owned your own bar, would Pizza be involved some how? Because Pizza is pretty much awesome. I might have to start a Pizza thread.

I thought about starting a bar until I saw how easy it is for staff to steal.
all they have to do is not hand the receipt and pocket the dough.
happens alot.

this is my local boozer
