4 negative reviews for Dark Knight

The Dark Knight Movie Reviews, Pictures - Rotten Tomatoes

Out of the 38 reviews currently up at Rotten Tomatoes, 4 of those reviews have been negative. If you take a look where those 4 reviewers are from you'll notice they're all from New York....

Coincidence? New Yorkers being snobbish douchebags? Butthurt over Dark Knight being moved to Chicago?

I'm from NY... and I'm not a snob. Did you ever think it could be a group of people who are 12 from NY who saw the movie and are now bashing it to be unique?

Probably not, the only movies that get close to 100% consistently on RT are Pixar films, documentaries, and indie films. Wait until Friday to get all the reviews get in, there's going to be like 100 more.

Well, it was part stupid, I believe you, my friend, are exaggerating. There's much more stupid shit on sherdog, just visit the heavies. Anyways, some film elitists (be it from NYC or elsewhere) will can this movie because they only like Lawrence of Arabia and Akira Kurosawa, they are just above a cool action movie. Those are the same people who laugh at you for liking a fun movie like Boondock Saints because the cinematography isn't up to their standard, the lighting is bad in a couple scenes, and the accents used aren't spot on.

Some of the reviews I've seen on RT are out of control. I've seen people give a bad review for something as silly as not liking the lead in music. Or lightning through out the movie is not believeavble.... It's a movie ..sometimes a director uses lightning to influence your idea of the movie.. and example would be Saw or Seven.

See it for yourself and judge based on your experience.

I know not everyone from New York is a douchebag, but I pretty much said it as a balance to all the comments I see about the stereotype how everyone from a southern state is an ignorant redneck.

I hear you, I'm from North Carolina. I just love it how people assume I'm a fat, cheap beer drinking, NASCAR loving red neck who speaks with a heavy accent, always votes republican, and is a racist. I'm none of those.
