it wasnt actual footage of people dying

they were re-inactments of real life events, just like americas most wanted

still, i agree......i found it distasteful..... these people really died and they didnt show any respect for that, with their stupid little jokes

I just saw it. I didn't really find it disturbing but I thought the jokes were incredibly distateful like lesbocution or love bugged. These are real people that died and they're trying to be funny about it. Not cool.

No, it's all re-enactments. I liked the show and found it entertaining.

The jokes were a bit much though.

I caught the last five minutes of it based on this thread.

It was pretty lame.

I prefer Real TV and other cop chase shows. Those at least show the real footage and AREN'T too graphic, yet still "oh my God?!?!"

It seemed like a pseudo-watered down, televised, and not-as-entertaining version of the Darwin Awards.

I only caught the first 3 deaths before I was A)tired as hell ( I get up at 4:30am for work) and B)kinda grossed out as well. Out of the 3 I saw the one that was the most ridiculous was the idiot drunk who sealed a guy in to his tomb, and anyone involved that sees this show who was there for real and tried to dig this man out now have to revisit that horrible moment knowing they could have saved a life if only they were anatomists i knew they needed to free the chest cavity from compression so he could breathe. I think that was a terrible idea to make that show. I love spike tv but I think this one was a bit tasteless.

It doesn't really bother me much at all, but it's also not nearly worth going out of my way to watch it. I guess I've also seen my share of real horrors on the internet (mostly thanks to my friend who got a laugh out of tricking me into looking rotten.com, not to mention a decent chunk of all content on 4chan is pure gore pretty much). I think I'll stick to reading the Darwin Awards and Snopes.

The one plus side is that from a production/presentation standpoint, it's a lot better made than manswers.

It was pretty morbid, not my thing, but I wasn't grossed out. It wasn't real, there was no real footage except of a guy who survived getting hit by a car so I wasn't bothered at all. I wasn't really paying attention that much though, was busy doing other things. I don't see why anyone would love such a show though. The only one I found slightly amusing was the Darwin Award candidate who let himself get bitten by a black widow, he just deserved it.
