He is way too big for UFC and noone is a threat to Fedor. I do believe that he has some skills for a Pride freakshow character. He could take Zulu, Sapp, and Brock Lesnar.

tom erikson is 42 years old and hes no randy couture so dont get too excited. silvas freak show image is better fit for pride, the japanese are turned on by large people and pride needs all the help they can get nowadays!

hes not experienced enough, and he would have trouble cutting in the ufc. hes a good fighter, but erickson isnt the greatest either

this guys looks like the real deal, but k1's lack of depth in the hw division will not test his skills and potential. i hope he moves to pride, or the ufc so we can find out what he's made of. his tko of a very experient erikson certainly enhances his resume.

No seriously...Antonio Silva could be a very good contender in the ufc hw division..He's huge..(just as big as Erikson)... But His striking is way..WAY too fucking slow..almost as slow as Zuluzinho.
He's got an undefeated record but vs Cans...
Erikson is not a can imo...But He's not at the top of his game anymore..
I've just seen the fight and all i have to say is WTF?
Erikson GAVE that victory to Antonio. He did absolutely NOTHING!... Just like kharitonov vs Overeem Only Erikson wasn't injured...

Also, It's the 3rd fight I've seen of Antonio's and He hasn't evolved a lot..His ground and pound is garbage... He uses crappy hammer fists and that's it... He's very strong and he imposed his strength in this fight but still...It's one of Erikson's worst performance ever..I repeat...he did NOTHING!...

He actually looked good beating Erikson. He totally out musclede Erikson and that by itself is not easy. Besides he seemed very quick and agile for a huge guy. His strikes seemed ok too. I thought it was going to be another Montanha Silva but this guy was good. He knew what to do standing and on the ground. Not that I think he would beat Fedor but he would definitly be a big threat to most of the top 10 fighters. With a melon big as his he can probably take a punch too. Antonio should have little problem with Zulu and Sapp as he is not only huge but is also skilled and really can fight.
