Well, to Thompsons credit

Dude took about 20 shots right in the face. That was nuts.

He took more shots to the face than Jenna Jameson in that fight.

To his credit is to say that he was giving Fujita a hard fight. He was outclassing Fujita till he got the beating of his life.

Can somebody tell me exactly how many shots he took to the face, before i watch it? I am talking exactly, like when Wand kneed Rampage exactly 22 times.

He showed a great deal of improvement despite losing. It was an exciting fight.

I was actually most impressed by James in this fight than any of his others...he was dominating the first few minutes...did he gas? His hands were down alot when he was taking those shots.

Yes. I expected Fujita to take JT down very easily. He made Fujita work.

I think James got hurt be a good shot and never had enough time to recover.
Fujita punched him so many times I lost count!

Definately. Shows the difference between him and a real top flight fighter (Fedor) as soon as Fedor got shook up he got in, wrapped up, and held on until the stars left. Thompson just kept trying to throw, but didnt seem to realize he couldnt throw and he was doing little more then lifting his hands and brushing Fujita's face.

great fight which ended in "fry/takayama" style. I never thought much of thompson, but he has my respect now. I believe him when he says hes still improving alot and its pretty possible he could be a top guy in the future.

Fujita took a pounding, but didnt show any signs that he has slowed down any. Hes still "iron head" and he still packs power in those hands. I believe the match was more competitive then most thought it would be because thompson was really there to win. Unfortunetly for him, fujita is still one of the top japanese heavy weights.
