Agreed, wraps it up perfectly. I don't see why people are saying Fedor was about to loose. Fedor looked very calm and just moved sideways to prevent Hunt getting the angle right on the kimura lock. Fedor has probably faced this situation a hundred times during practice and knew exactly how to counter. Hunt was very impressing none the less and his ground game has bettered insanely much. I did however look like Fedor was struggeling with his broken toe when he was caught off balance in nearly every takedown attempt leaving Hunt on top. Hunts compact weight also seemed to make Fedor struggle more than usual.

i kind of thought that was key lock no? either way hunt showed exceptional improvement on the ground, the way he rolled out of the armbar and attempted to submit fedor. such an awesome fight.

he looked like he was going half speed at most, and he still beat hunt. he must have been on some good pain killers.

I don't think the fight was that close. When a guy as big as Hunt sidemounts you, it takes a while to get out, and it also tires you out. Fedor escaped and won in the first round. Hunt fought well, but it wasn't as close as people are saying.

In Judo they are both called Ude Garami and are considered the same submission (Kimura and Americana). If you think about it they are basically the same armbar whether you twist one way or the other.

LMAO at Fedor's emotionless face while his arm was being ripped off by a Samoan monster! That was my favorite moment in MMA.
