Wanderlei / Franklin

I couldn't be prouder of Wanderlei.

he hung in there, had Rich in trouble a few times, and fought like a warrior.

I actually think the fight should have been at least a split, with Wanderlei winning the 2nd round. And possibly the 3rd.

Either way, Wanderlei was all smiles at the end.

I think 185 will be great for him. We have to keep in mind; this was his first cut in his life. I think he will look even better at 185.

War Wanderlei.

195 is the perfect wieght for Rich, he is prob one of the best at 195. I hope Wandy does a better job cutting so he doesn't gas as fast.

I think this was great for Wandy.

He cut for the first time ever, was gassed, but hung in there with one of the best champions ever.

Now that he has the cutting down, 185 should be fantastic for him.

I think Wanderlei took two rounds. A little disappointed by the decision.

indeed, indeed.

was quite surprised after the unaminous decision tbh.

although franklin is great and all that, it's still sad to see wand going 1-3 in the UFC.

war franklin & wand!

Don't know man, he is surely declining. He got Rich a lil' wobbly sometimes, but his reflexes aren't very good. He exposes himself too much, and he wasn't even agressive as his usual to leave so many holes in his defense.

I love both Wand and Franklin so this fight was hard for me to watch. It could had gone either way.

I agree. Great fight. I think Wand is a legend and will always be my favorite fighter of all time. Rich fought very well and he earned a great decision victory. He proved he can now challenge other greats in the sport at a heavier wieght. Only 1 thing pisses me off: how the f@k does any1 let Wand go and have to cut 12 pounds the day b4 a fight. I wrestle and that is sum tough shit and think that , that was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
