UFC 58, down the card

here's my complete list of predictions for UFC 58...

Winner / Loser / how sure

Rich Franklin > David Louiseau - 99.9%
BJ Penn > Georges St. Pierre - 65%
Nate Marquardt > Joe Doerkson - 75%
Mike Swick > Steve Vigneault - 80%
Yves Edwards > Mark Hominick - 75%
Jason Lambert > Rob Mcdonald - 40%
Tom Murphy > Christophe Midoux - 15%
Spencer Fisher > Sam Stout - 40%

yes... that's right... i predict an american sweep... not being biased... but as i went down the card... looked at each fight... every matchup seems to be in favor of the states fighter...
canada's best chance of scoring a W... excluding the big 2... probably sam stout or midoux...

the final score is gonna be USA 8 Canada 0

BJ penn vs GSP will probably be the best fight of the night.....
i imagine the out matched, out classed, out skilled David Louiseau losing brutally to Rich Franklin...

at the end of the night... probably not gonna be much for the canada fans to talk about... other than maybe...
" when will Louiseau get out of the hostpital? "... or " who is that new guy? he looked decent "... since there are a lot of debuts in this PPV....

USA - 8 Canada - 0
you heard it here first...

whether you think Louiseau or whoever else on canada is going to win... you have to admit.... they're almost all underdogs... the only canadian that should be semi-favored... is GSP...

I don't think you could say that there is that clear of a favorite for the two main fights. Franklin/Loiseau and GSP/Penn are both fights that could end any number of ways. Each fighter is capable of beating the other on any given night. It will come down to who has a better gameplan/execution.

it's pretty easy to say Rich is a favorite over louiseau.... loui hasnt faught anyone... he's been beat by bums... he lost to a guy chris leben beat... his record is crap.. he's a very avg... one demensional fighter.... his take down defense is terrible... he always gives up his back.....

franklin on the other hand.... faught and beat good fighters.... nearly flawless record... only 1 loss... to machida... who out wieghs franklin greatly.... machida has also beat BJ penn... he's undefeated....

even with that one loss.... no 185 pound fighter has EVER beat rich franklin.... rich franklin is the best 185 lb fighter in the world.... could probably be the best 205lb fighter....

David Louiseau is out classed... and it is VERY easy... for me to call him an underdog....

Dan Henderson would murder Rich Franklin.

And lets be serious. Machida brutally KO'd Franklin. Penn took him to a close decision at a far lighter weight.

I am not saying that Loiseau is the favorite or anything. Rich is the champ and will be until someone beats him, but I don't think it would be that much of a shocker to see the "underdog" win in either of the two main fights . I think everybody knows, or should know that Loiseau is fully capable of winning this fight, dominating it even, not saying that it will happen but...

Rich was nearly as heavy as Machida in that fight.

wow your assumptions are very one dimensional. statistics don't account for all the factors.

why?

1) you don't account for a puncher's chance
2) you seemingly haven't thought that ppl do improve

HAHAHA YOU OBVIOUSLY DO NOT WATCH PRIDE...HAHA BEST AT 205 ROFL...ARE YOU DRUNK?

AHAHA AMERICANS ARE BETTER SHAPE..IN SOME CASES YA, BUT HAVE YOU SEEN BJ'S BELLY?! GSP MAKES HIM LOOK LIKE THE PILSBURY DOUGH BOY

Yves Edwards should be much higher than 75% imo. 95% seems approp to me
