something different about Werdum..
Spoilers..

Anyone noticed?
Compare his latest fight vs Overeem to his fight vs Kharitonov...
He was less hesistant..Way more active....and wasn't constantly avoiding the stand up like he did vs sergei....
As soon as the fight started..He jumped towards Overeem and was using his kicks more often..
He looked so much better!

Loved how he came out with the kick. Indeed he looked way better overall. Went to the drawing board and tried something new.

Yeah, it's good that he experiments with standup but he needs waaay more experience with that. He showed a lot of heart when he constantly stood up from the ground to strike but Overeem was just so much more sharper than him. At times it looked like Werdum didn't know what his fight plan was.

Props for the win, he should've tried for the takedown more active.

Yeah...he looked impresssive. Did you notice how fast he stood up? Clearly part of Overeem's plan was to make Werdum lie there and just give him some punishment. But Werdum wouldn't allow that. He was up in a flash.
