I think you're missing the essence of pbp. I think the appeal is to be able to read and enjoy the developments as the fight progresses, particularly for those who are unable to follow it live and read the posts later. Otherwise, you'll just read 1 post, "he taps, fight over, round 1".

I suppose but at the end of the day who really gives a shit? I guess it's just me but I'll take what I can get.

I'm sure if you compensated the pbp in some way (beer, weed, porn, etc.) they'd be willing to make it more convenient for you but seeing as how they're watching the event you're not maybe you might want to STFU.
