Silva Vs. Griffin Work?
I feel like the fight was suspicious, Forrest did not look like himself to me, he looked very slow. it looked like everything he threw was like light shadowboxing and then how he went down from a back stepping light jab and completely quit when he hit the floor, the whole thing seemed very fishy. Anyone agree? And I know plenty will disagree, but its not like works have never occurred in MMA, and from a business perspective i could see why they would do it. Again I'm not saying that 100% it was a work, but the whole fight looked weird and it seems possible.
*p.s.
I know a lot of people tend to say troll or noob or other things like that when people raise these questions, I'm just asking people's opinions on how it looked and not if you think I am or am not an idiot. Thanks.

No.
- Forrest was never an amazing striker, and he just looks worse when you put him against an excellent striker.
- If it was a work the UFC would have had it go three rounds, with whatever outcome was desired, so they could market both fighters. Its. going to be incredibly hard to market Forrest Griffin after that fight, I think the UFC lost alot of money, by losing Forrest Griffins marketability.

It did look suspicious, but I think it was because Forrest was humiliated and his will was broken like it never had been before. I think when Anderson mocked him by offering to help him up, the wind was knocked out of his sails, even more so than the final blow.

Coleman could easily take your BJJ instuctor down, get his back, and choke him out, unless he is Fedor.

i have that same feeling, this fight is very fishy, especially when you see forrest take punches from shogun for 3 rounds and heavy punches from rampage for 5 rounds and here he gets kod by a bitch jab. If he were really ko'd he would have needed some help running back to the locker room. This fight was either to showcase silva for roy jones to copromote or to convince silva to vacate the middleweight title and move up permenently to LHW cuz that was not the real forrest we saw out there.

He just made Forrest look like shit before Forrest ran right into a shot which was after being dropped twice by Silva.

Forrest
Na, Forrest was never that good of a fighter. UFC really pushes him because the fans like him. The Forrest/Rampage fight was fixed. Forrest/Tito fight, Tito was killing him until forrest asked him to make it look better. This time he actually fights someone decent and gets killed. Put Forrest against another good fighter and same outcome.
