Was Shamrock telling off the UFC crowd? It looked like he was challenging them to come get some and then on his way out screaming at Tito.

Shamrock embarrassed himself after both this and the fight vs Sakuraba and he needs to retire before he becomes avoided like the plague.

I've said Herb Dean is a worthless, passive, ref who has little control in the ring. I've said it so many times that my buddies are calling me a racist bastard. But, Shamrock brought that shit on himself. You don't sit there with your damn head bouncing up and down, hands at shoulder level. We are seeing repaly after replay. As much as I think Herb Dean sucks, his veiw was of Ken's head bouncing repeatedly off of Tito's elbows. I guess anyone could've made that call. But, Ken has been getting off the canvas on the ass end of fights now for a while. What did we expect?

Remember Hearb Dean reffing during Forrest vs Sinosic also a prematuraly stopped fight...

He better search him another job bc reffing isn't really working.

It's really easy to bitch when you have no idea how difficult refs job really is. They've got the fighters on their responsibility, and in a fight things usually happen really fast. Very little time to make decisions, and when they do, it's final. They can't watch the fight on slo-mo from diffirent angles and just take their time and wonder "Hhmmm yea.. I think I could have waited for few more seconds.." or "Shit.. He got way too many unanswered blows and got injured because of me.." "But hey, I can rewind this shit!"

How many times do you ever hear "The ref did his job really good, damn he's good at what he does!"? Not too many, mostly just bitching about their decisions.

I think Herb is one of the best refs in the biz, thanks to him Shammy is still walking and talking. Not in a hospital with a crushed face or/and brain damage. Or in a morgue - cold.

I wouldn't compare this to the Saku fight...Saku did knock him out.

But I do agree, the Tito fight was an early stoppage.

Is that what Ken said?

I like Ken too, but he looked out to me. And from the ref's view, he looked like he was out.
