Sherdog's answer to a more handsome Stalin.

To settle the debate.
We should just give the GP title to Gono.
He went the distance with a fresh Kang, where as Misaki went the distance with a beat up Kang, PLUS he lost.
And Kang can't be champion because he lost to someone who lost.
And of course Filho cannot be champion because he won, but got injured and had to pull out.
Although he did beat the eventual champion...
Although it was before...Misaki showed extra heart to win...
Wait. The decision between Kang and Misaki was wrong in my view. Plus Misaki had lost and had no right being there. Kang should be the champion.
Have I covered all the different reasons for why some people should be the champion, not others?
I'll add the determining factor: Misaki veats Kang via split decision in the tournament finals.
- The point here is, whether we like the fact Filho pulled out, or Kang fought someone who lost, or Gono was clearly superior in the entrance department, the results which happened are set in stone. We cannot change them and all the speculation, nut hugging arguing and petty name calling won't change the fact that Misaki is the grand prix champion.

Blows or not, it's concrete now.
Don't worry though, Gono will get his belt one day.

i'm pretty sure in the future, when people look back at the results of this GP, it'll look like a joke.
It's the only GP where a loser ends up earning the belt. damnit i'mna stop repeating myself now.

Maybe, maybe not. It's certainly the most memorable, and it has shown us much more about the fighters than we ever thought we'd see.

At the very least, it was one hell of a suprising night...............quite the ride.
NONE of us could have expected the tourney to end up like that, when the night started (A LONGGGGGGGGGGGG time ago)
