This is seriously messed up! (regarding Denis Kang split decision)

BUSHIDO Judge, Matt Hume raising his arm cheering for Kang when he has the armbar locked on almost finishing the fight.

For those who do not know, Matt Hume is the judge who gave the fight to Denis Kang on the scorecards, while the two Japanese judges gave it to Misaki.

even though I'm a fan of Kang, I have to admit Misaki beat him fair and sqiare. I understand how someone can give the decision to Kang but the fact that it came from someone who appears to be cheering for him just looks wrong.

i think you could be very wrong. i've seen Pride footage of events in the past where Hume commonly does signaling to refs. he is very observant and concerned with ring action. most of the times i've seen him making gestures and standing signaling to the ref have been in instances where a fighter was in trouble (i.e. in danger of submission or TKO).

Matt Hume is not cheering at all... does his face even looking like he's cheering?? The hand sign he's giving is the same as the ref's... so in other words, it's a sign that a sub is in progress... stop giving funny comments...

Hume always signals to the ref that the fight may be close to being over. After Randleman slammed Fedor he was waving his hands to the ref, but Fedor being Fedor was uneffected.
