I agree and let's not forget that now, there are all sorts of rules that Royce didn't fight under......he had no time limits, the ref didn't stand them up if there was no action, head butts were allowed and you could kick and knee a downed opponant. Royce accomplished the mission the Gracies sent him to do and that was to show that there was no greater fighting style then Gracie Ju Jitsu. Now, every style worth a damn relies heavily on BJJ. Even if they don't use BJJ to win, they need to know it so they don't get beat. Now that the world has seen and encorporated BJJ into their styles, BJJ has had to encorporate others into theirs to keep up, but until the UFC, the greatest real fighting style was BJJ.....never foget that.
I do love to watch Royce's fights....I respect him, win or lose. How can you not? He beat a roided out 250 Kimo, who came out slicked up with vaseline, I could care less if he gets beat by a modern MMA champ....Royce is still a legend.
