Pride needs to figure out the Ref situation.

Come on. That is the last job I would want right now. There has been many cases all of which I can not list but I can say a few things.

The bennent fight and now the coleman fight prove that pride refs get no repect. While that is problably becuase of there size Pride should look in to supentions and huge fines.

I don't know for sure what happened to bennet but I am still under the believe that he got no suspension from pride, and only had like %10 of his purse removed. That really is unexceaptable IMO. If I am a head of an org I would fine and suspened while holding people to thier contract if they break that rule.

This happened in the enson match agaisnt nog years back and there wasn't a fine or suspention. It has if my memory serves me right, happened in some instances that weren't as blatent as coleman's but wrong none the less.

Having Yvel on thier bushido show right after his ref mishap is another example of them underminding ref power and purpose.

NASC(NOT UFC) at least tried with baroni giving him a fine and a suspention.

That IMO is BS that the org has to be more stearn with. Pride doesn't work under an offiacting body like the NASC so they should be doing this themselves.

Something like coleman's action should be penilized(I am not talking about the after fight brawl with CB. I am talking only about the throw.) and as Pride's track record has shown problably won't do much.

Someone can correct me as I want to know more about this.

The throw is being way exaggerated. He didn't hit the ref, the ref tackled him and Coleman pushed him off. It's happened in the UFC and Pride on more than one occasion. It's not like Coleman assaulted the ref.

Yes there are way too many people jumping on Coleman and it's clearly Chute Box fault for the melee.

I actually thought that the guy that took herb dean down should of gotten somthing. I think that happend last summer on an UFN. But that guy had just been rocked so I guess that is why he didn't get one.

True ... but when it happens in the UFC you don't see the ref getting ragdolled by a simple shove. If you are going to have refs in there physically separating two heavyweights, they'd better have some meat on their bones.

In a sense I agree. Coleman should not have touched the ref. However, IMO Chute-Boxe was responsible for the Melee.

That situation was so pathetic that it was funny. The guy thought he was still fighting. He had no idea that he was grabbing the ref. Talk about being out on your feet, or in his case his ass.

I saw that but wasn't sure what was up. Man to lose the fight, get seriously hurt and then lose 10% of your pay. That really sucks.
