Goddamn EliteXC...
...you need a better doctor. What the hell was with that Lawler/Smith stoppage?! I know CBS wants to avoid unnecessary beatings on TV and such, but stopping the fight after an eye poke? that was just too much.

Apparently Smith told the doctor he couldn't see, so that's my bad.
Also, if a champ. bout in NJ comes to an end before 3 full rounds due to an inadvertent foul, the bout will be deemed a NC. So no one's getting a win or a loss on their record from this one.

Come on... Thompson would have won this fight on the cards.....

But definately the momentum was going towards Slice.. But my opinion was stopped a bit soon...

I thought the rule was if you dont defend yourself the fight is over for you.. Second round would have had thompson win by TKO -- Strikes... But oh well.

that was an awful stoppage btw. Miragliotta should have stopped it when JT was pounding Kimbo's face with elbows for the last minute of R2, instead of after JT took a few shots that couldn't even knock him down
