kurt one the first round, but nate defended all subs well. lucky triangle? yeah for sure since his last three or four fights hes won by sub. nate came out in the second round pumped. dude has dangerous bjj. and he has great flexibility.

Nate Diaz is not lucky his defense is sic. His triangle is one of the best I've ever seen. He didn't even pull on the head to finish the sub. Dude is for real and patient. He will not give up even when he is in deep trouble it looks like he isn't going to win. Which is very frustrating to the opponent. Instead he'll wait for an oppurtunity to finish the fight as he has done in previous fights. Yeah just ask Pelligrino he looked good until his head was locked in a triangle sub and he was tapping looking in disbelief that he lost afterward.

There's so many posters on here from Nor Cal who train with the Diaz bros and start these types of threads. Sometimes they are the Diaz bros themselves. Whatever though, I like watching them fight. WAR DIAZ!

Pellegrino is still an awesome fighter and he'll be back, maybe against another TUF winner *Danzig*.

Having said that, is anyone else just a little perplexed at how good Diaz continues to look in the UFC? I say rematch him with Hermes and see how far he's really come in the past 2 years.

That was so cool. Heh, didn't even pull down on the head cuz he knew how deep it was.

Nate's game depends too much on his opponents mistakes. He takes beatings in the ring until his opponent gets careless. I'm not sure his fortune will last that long. That style is not well suited for longevity.
