the most important part of coleman vs shogun (spoiler)

is Shogun's health. This looks like a terrible injury and, while not a fan of Shogun or ChuteBox, I pray for him. It would be terrible to see his career end over a fight like this. It's sickening that all of these threads are "omg lyke baroni totalli pwned silva" and "omg waht a roid rage ass coleman is". Yes, these things should definately be discussed but, lets not overlook what is important here. Hope you're okay Shogun :[.

How can one not be a Shogun fan? He's an excellent fighter with heart. He's extremely respectful and nice.

I meant in a way that I don't follow him in MMA as much as I should. I have nothing against him at all.

EXACTLY, people shouldnt be bickering about "oh he woulda won if it didnt happen" blah blah blah, the point is, that their fighter probably wont be fighting for months becuase of this, so thats what really matters...not good for shogun fans...

although I'm not a physician, I've seen injuries like that end sporting careers.
and it's usually not because of the actual physical injury, but, the mental block that comes with it: Shogun will always be thinking about "what if I fuck up my elbow again?" which may be a speed bump or Mount Fuji depending on how strong he is mentally.
I do hope he recovers, physically and mentally, fully from that injury and returns to the PRIDE ring with the same ferocity and courage he had before the injury.
