MMA's biggest quitter!

What a shame Filho quit because he was only at 90%. He beat Misaki easily and I dont see how he couldve got injured in that fight. Kang came in at 60% after a war with Gono and still showed up to the finals with his shoulder all wrapped up. Filho is clearly the best fighter of the 4 and it's such a shame that he pussied out of the finals because he didnt feel 100% and wasnt going to risk his perfect record. He should be fined for this if he turns up injury free. I would never invite him again to compete in a tournament again for being such a sore loser. I would be furious if I was Pride, he made the event seem so lame as he cheated the fans out of having a clear cut champion.

i agree %100!! thats some bitch shit!!! he has a perfect record and doesnt want to take a chance in getting a loss. shit happens. that means he'll never win a tourney cos you'll never be at %100 for your second match in an evening.

It's amazing the things haters come up with these days to try and lower a fighter's stock

Keep hating, this makes fighters stronger

that very lame to do that since he backed out of the final. He doesn't deserve to fight for that title.

and since a japanese fighter won. There is no way there are gonna set up misaki for him to lose it.

You guys are being ridiculous. If the guy is hurt he wont fight, if he is fine than he will. What kind of fighter would enter the GP, fight and easily win his first fight, and than quit. It doesnt make sense. The guy got hurt and thats all. Most likely we ended up with a more exciting fight with Misaki.

How is Filho clearly better than Kang? A fresh Kang imo would knock Filho out!

And I don't buy Filho's excuse at all. He walked from the ring in perfect condition. He knew Denis Kang was a bad matchup for him just like he knew Dean Lister was the time when he pulled out in the previous tournament.

Filho does not deserve the benefit of the doubt.
