Mir seemed so angry that everyone knows that Nog was out of shape and had major issues in training. Nog was clearly flabby over weight and out of shape. He didnt move as quick in the mir fight as he did in pride or vs randy

Its probably because it diminishes his win. If Nog was in top shape and everything, beating him is a quality win, but if he beats an out of shape injured guy... its just not as impressive. I guess he was hoping the whole world was retarded and couldn't figure out that Nog wasn't looking right that night.

Now people are probably giving him shit saying "you couldn't beat a healthy Nog". Tough shit Frank.

there are alot of hypocrites in here.

1. if someone or most other fighters would say what nog said, then you say, fight and if you lose, stfu or dont fight.
2. nog does it, it's all ok.
3. mir is a ***** (insert an insult) for saying he shouldnt make excuses.
4. nog is great.

i'm always the believe in, if you lose and got good reasons why you lost, i have nothing against to hear them. for example, shogun was "half crippled" against forrest and couldnt train properly. i understood that shogun was a warrior, but shouldnt have taken the fight. nontheless he took it and lost. afterwards you're always smarter and i think a healthy shogun would do alot better than in a rematch. but shogun lost, that loss will not dissapear from his records.

nog lost, he has to deal with it and learn from it. next time nog, dont fight if you have (or recently had) an illness + knee injury etc. if you cant train properly, dont fight for your own sake. people _always_... maybe not in this case... question the explanation after the fight. they usually wanna hear something, but not "excuses".

i understand mir's frustration, if he would say something like that after a loss, people would write bs 24/7.

ps: i wasnt impressed with nogs fight against randy, even tho, physically he looked better than against mir. i still give mir a little advantage if they have a rematch with nog at 100%, since nog not once looked very good in the ufc to me.

nog never made excuses, he was asked about it and gave an answer. prior to that he always gave mir all the credit for beating him. he never went out of his way to make excuses, in fact he avoided it for the most part.

nog looked great against herring until he got blasted with that head kick.

Tell me about it, He's definitely self absorbed to the max.. It's also obvious that he likes the sound of his voice & the bs he spews.. He truly believes he's great, He over came his injuries.. Good for him but he's still overrated in my book & a healthy nog would gape him & he's pissed because he kows it..

I got a theory, I think his knew found disdain for Fedor stems from the fact that after the mir/nog fight fedor was asked what he thought & he said he knows noguiera & the warrior that he is & the man that mir beat was NOT noguira.

Nog didnt look that great against Randy. Everyone is acting like he turned the clock back 5 years. Of course if Nog was 100% it would have been a better fight against Mir. Bottom line is Mir didnt just beat Nog, he absolutely destroyed him. I think Nog is over the hill, even though everyone is so impressed with him outpointing a 46 year old. This rematch will happen. Nog wins his next fight, Mir takes one of Kongos limbs home, and they fight again. Mir will come out on top again.

Between the Nog fight, and the controversial stoppage and gift wrapped ankle lock from a green Lesnar, I consider Mir to currently be the luckiest, most over-hyped Heavyweight in MMA.
