I still can't see anything other than a Chuck KO/TKO if they were to meet at HW. Mir won't be able to take chuck down and/or he'll geet caught trying. His stand-up isn't good enough to give Chuck any problems either.

Thanks for posting the pic. Yeah, Mir really looks like a fatso there, doesn't he. And I agree, either fighter could win this fight. Chuck could easily cactch Mir, and Mir could easily drag Chuck down and use his huge size advantage to keep him there. For those saying "Chuck has never been submitted", keep in mind he's never had a guy who's waaaaay bigger, and waaaaay stronger get ahold of an arm, leg, neck, whatever. This fight really would be a pick 'em to me.

I think Mir has more chance in winning if he works on his striking game and boxing skills. 80% of Chuck losses were from KO.

And look at Jeremy Horn, then look at Frank Mir. Or look at ANY lhw and then look at Mir. I think Mir's lack of great wrestling and takedowns could (and I stress COULD) be made up for by how much bigger he is than Chuck. And if Mir did get Chuck down, Chuck would have a lot harder time getting him off of him and standing back up than he does with lhw guys. Hell, in an open weight fight I might favor Randy over Chuck. The extra 20 or so lbs. that Randy carries at HW don't seem to slow him down, and with that extra weight he may be able to take Chuck down and hold him there. In other words, I think Chuck is fighting at his optimal weight, while when they fought Randy wasn't.

Hell, Mir could even pull guard and lock on an arm before Chuck could pull out. Chuck hasn't had anyone with close to Mir's grip get ahold of a limb.
